How Does It Work?

When you pour a cup of AquaGarde® into your Hot Tub water and activate the jets for 2 minutes, AquaGarde® instantly begins to thin the "ski" of the water, this is the surface layer of the water that settles against the inner walls and pipes of your hot tub and is the place that Bacteria create their "Bio-Film" to multiply in, so quite simply the bacteria will not be able to settle anywhere, therefore unable to multiply.

The second function of AquaGarde® is to coagulate bacteria. Normally bacteria are so small they pass straight through your filter but with AquaGarde® any Bacteria brought in to your Hot Tub from an outside source will be killed by the Ozonator, or if you do not have ozone on your Spa the AquaGarde® system comes with a tablet that can be put on your filter to kill the Bacteria that has become trapped in it.

The third function of AquaGarde®s' unique formula is that it softens water, breaks down and dissolves lime scale deposits. This will add years to the life of your Hot Tub by de-furring your heaters and pipes.
